Please note that due to the use of software to map locations which is used on this site to determine bus eligibility (as well as bus stops), although not common, errors may result in mapping the exact location of your residence. If this occurs, it may then result in an incorrect determination of bus eligibility (and location of bus stops). You should note that only those students who reside greater than 1.6 kms from their zoned school are eligible to ride the bus. The way this is determined is set out in the Government of NL’s Department of Education’s Transportation Policies and Guidelines. Bus routes and stops are governed by NLESD’s Bus Route & Stop Guidelines. In the event of a discrepancy between the information provided on this site and any of these policies and/or guidelines, the policies and/or guidelines will take precedence. If you have any specific questions or concerns regarding your bus eligibility or bus route/stop location you should submit a Student Transportation Public Inquiry Form located on our website.
The Newfoundland and Labrador English School District (NLESD) accepts no responsibility for any loss, and excludes all liability in connection with, any user using the information, including, but not limited to, any liability or loss for errors, inaccuracies or omissions, contained within NLESD’s student transportation BusPlanner Web website.

Does your school-aged child weigh less than 40lbs? If they do and you plan on them riding the bus, please contact the Student Transportation Division through the Student Transportation Public Inquiry Form and the necessary arrangements will be made to ensure the required child restraint system is available for your child in accordance with the Highway Traffic Act.
